It's comming together.

These wheels are temporary just to roll the truck around and try them on for size.

Today I put the suspension, axels, motor and body together.

The motor and transmission have been painted.

The frame has been painted.

Welding the Frame

The frame has been welded to add strength and rigidity. I cleaned up the welds with a wire brush in preparation for paint.

Here are the painted axles, lief springs, U bolts, shocks, and other trinkets.

Frame Off Resteration

I have changed my mind about the frame of the truck. I removed the engine and sent the frame out to be sandblasted in preparation to paint.

Clear Coat

A clear coat is applied to give it protection and shine.
