Sand Blasting

Now that the body is off everything needs to be sandblasted. Sandblasting is going to be by far the most miserable part of this build. For those of you who do not know what sandblasting is, it's a tank that's hooked up to an air compressor and in the tank is a special thick grained sand. The air is forced into the tank and shoots the sand out of a nozzle at an extremely high rate of speed. The sand is traveling so fast that it strips the rust, paint and a think layer of medal off of what ever it is you are sand blasting. During this process you are usually standing in the sun with a full body suit on but some how sand manages to get into the suit, covering you from head to toe in sand particles. Today I put in 4 hours of blasting and I have probably another eight hours to go.
